About Fulgurances

The energy within Fulgurances is subtly charged, blending an intimate Parisian charm with a raw, experimental edge. While the ambience invites lingering conversation, pockets of quiet allow appreciation of the culinary craft on display. Occasionally, the hum of nearby kitchen activity filters through, lending a sense of immediacy to the dining experience. Occasional glimpses at Fulgurances photos reveal a plating style that is artful but not overly ornate, matching the straightforward but inventive aura present throughout the meal.

Ingredients arrive transformed into dishes that hold both comfort and surprise, balancing texture and flavor with an evident respect for seasonal produce. The menu at Fulgurances fluctuates, reflecting a dedication to freshness that sometimes means favorites rotate quickly, which might perplex those drawn by past reviews highlighting particular signature plates. Patience is rewarded with courses that defy expectations—unpretentious yet complex in execution—though the subtle interplay of spices can feel uneven on occasion, suggesting that some experimentation still takes place after opening hours.

Service strikes a careful middle ground between attentiveness and allowing diners their space, offering thoughtful explanations without overwhelming intrusion. Practical considerations such as pacing and attention to detail suggest a team familiar with a discerning clientele, though the intimacy of the venue means that any slow moments can feel amplified. Exploring Fulgurances restaurant feedback across various platforms shows appreciation for its ambitious approach, while some critique centers on consistency—a typical tension for establishments poised between innovation and refining their voice within a bustling neighborhood known for culinary variety.

Fantastic staff, great food. The service was great. Friendly yet professional waiters, who made us feel at home and safe that our food preferences would be catered to. Had the tasting menu with wine pairing. Chef Nazareno Mayol was the resident chef and had us explore his cooking. There was a simplicity to his dishes, where each ingredient was allowed to shine but yet made the combination even better (1+1=3). Especially the vegetables (peas, asparagus) were cooked to perfection. The wine paring was overall good, with some pairings almost perfect. This is definitely a place I will return to next time I’m in Paris. The value for money is great.

Visited on a quick, impromptu trip for our wedding anniversary. This was one of the most memorable dining experiences we’ve ever had. The food was natural and beautiful as food should be. Beautiful, fresh flavors. The experience was truly enhanced, and completed, with the wine pairing. Emily, the sommelier, was amazing. Her pairings were non-typical, out of the box selections, that truly made the entire evening. This was an experience that would bring us back to Paris.

I really love the concept of this restaurant where different chefs come and take over the kitchen. We had the pleasure of tasting Nazareno mayol’s menu and it was amazing. I love how he took humble ingredients and amplified its flavors to create well balance dishes using great techniques. I commend the staff of this restaurant as well, there were only two people hosting and they were efficient and kind. Great service overall! I would love to return soon.

We had the 6 course dinner because the 8 course just mean extra desserts. Food was good and interesting, service was good, but the ambiance wasn’t there. I hate to say this but it just didn’t hit the high note that we would come back. On top of this, we were all still hungry and raided the fridge for more food when we got home. Since, they change chefs often I guess the menu will be different all the time so you’ll get a different experience.

What an amazing restaurant! Current chef Shun Narise pulls out masterpieces that are not only beautiful to the eye, but also delicious to the tastes, with a well-welcomed Japanese influence. The wine list is amazing and the (super friendly) staff shares excellent advices. The restaurant is modern, cozy, and quiet, with smooth wooden tables that are a pleasure for the touch. We loved it.

My twin sister and I celebrated our birthday here, on the penultimate night of Pavel Hug’s residency. The food was great (thank you, Chef, we look forward to seeing what your next venture looks like!), and the two other staff members were lovely. It was a very relaxed evening with excellent wines and bright, thoughtful flavours. Enjoy the last night of the residency tonight, team, and thank you for a wonderful birthday celebration. We will be visiting Fulgurances again!

Went for the curent chef's tasting menu, Laura Santosuosso. The concept is cool - rotating chefs with 6-9 month residencies. The food was innovative and tasty but for me lacked a certain level of depth of flavor. Lots of japanese inspiration in her food which was unique for a chef from Italy. We opted for the half pairing and tasted some very interesting natural wines.
